Student Category

Student Categories is a competition for Students of High School, Matriculation, Primary School, Disabled & Special Needs (Students of IPT/IPTS, IPG, Community College, Polytechnic, High School, Matriculation & Primary School ) to showcase their innovative ideas/product/innovation and compete. These include learning analytics, virtual/augmented reality, e-learning pedagogy/approach, multimedia tools, computer applications, mobile applications, and systems and other related areas.

Student Categories

    • To exhibit creation and innovation in teaching and learning by students.
    • To share expertise and commercial, creative and innovative ideas.
    • To cultivate interests and encourage academics/instructors, and students to develop teaching materials in line with current technological developments.
    • Category C: High School and Matriculation
    • Category D: Primary School
    • Category E: Disabled & Special Needs (Students of IPT/IPTS, IPG, Community College, Polytechnic,High School, Matriculation & Primary School )
    • Gold, silver and bronze medals.
    • Certificate of participation and award.

    • The product or innovation contested must be related to the teaching and learning process or material.
    • Open to all lecturers of IPT/IPTS, IPG, Community College, and School Teachers; Participation from agencies and industries are welcomed. Open to all students of IPT, IPG, Polytechnic, Community College, secondary school, and primary school.
    • Individual or group participation (1-5 team members, including team leader)
    • The combination of teacher-student participation is not allowed. Participants can submit multiple entries by filling in one form per entry. Products or innovations must relate to teaching & learning innovation and facilitation.
    • Product or innovation can be presented in English or Bahasa Melayu. Participant must provide a poster of own product (Poster size: A1 (594 x 841 mm / 23.4 x 33.1 inch) (width x height)
    • The poster must state technology readiness level (TRL): (Click Here for more info)
    • Content of Poster: Project description (e.g., background and objectives); Pedagogical approach (or what theory/model/approach that drives the innovation); Evidence of impact (on learning, on community, other stakeholders, if any, usefulness); Scalability and sustainability; Accessibility and inclusivity; Acknowledgment and References.
    • The organizer reserves the right to cancel any entries if the information provided is incorrect or infringes on the copyrights.
    • Any withdrawal request must be made at least 30 days prior to the program date to be eligible for a refund. Withdrawals made within 30 days of the program date will not be refunded.
